Enjoying higher-quality playback (Pure Direct)
This mode enables higher-quality playback with reduced noise. It disables various processing modes and circuits (such as the front display) except those required for basic playback.
Press the PURE DIRECT key to switch the sound mode to “PURE DIRECT”. The “PURE DIRECT” lamp on the front panel turns on.
- When Pure Direct is enabled, the following functions cannot be used:
- Zone function
- Operation of the OPTION menu and SETTINGS menu
- Indicators on the front display (when no operations are performed)
Signal processing when using Pure Direct
When using Pure Direct with this product, analog audio signals are output without being converted to digital audio signals.
