Tone Control
This function separately adjusts the volumes of the high and low frequency ranges.

3D MUSIC Upmixer
By selecting this menu, the sound mode switches to “3D MUSIC”, and you can select your favorite upmixer to change the effect.

AURO-3D | Use AURO-3D. It enables optimal expansion for the placement of the installed speaker. Be sure to use this setting for decoding and viewing AURO-3D content in AURO-3D. By selecting “AURO-3D” for “Upmixer”, the “AURO-3D” menu becomes enabled. |
DSurr (Dolby Surround) | Use Dolby Surround. It enables optimal expansion for the placement of the installed speaker. This results in realistic sound from all directions, including overhead. |
Neural:X | Use DTS Neural:X. It enables optimal expansion for the placement of the installed speaker. This results in realistic sound from all directions, including overhead. |

- When the 3D MUSIC Upmixer screen appears, if a sound mode other than 3D MUSIC is selected, it will automatically switch to 3D MUSIC.

Set to AURO-3D when “AURO-3D” is selected on the “3D MUSIC Upmixer”.

Auro-Matic Preset
An Auro-Matic Upmixer Preset used to effectively play back AURO-3D in accordance with content. Select one of following presets as required by playback content.
Small | Preset for pop music and chamber music. |
Medium | Preset for jazz music, general movies, and TV programs. |
Large | Preset for content recorded in a large space, such as an orchestra. |
Movie | Preset for movie content, such as action movies with loud explosion scenes. |
Speech | This preset is best suited for news broadcasts and other content that is mostly dialog which does not have spatial information. |
Auro-Matic Strength
Sets the level of upmixing for the original input signal.
0 to 15 | Brightness level is set in 1 step increments. |

Auto Lipsync
Automatically compensates for the delay between the timing of the output of the video and the audio.

Off | Disables compensation using Auto Lipsync. |
On | Enables compensation using Auto Lipsync. Enabled only on a TV with automatic compensation connected using HDMI. |

DTS Dialogue Control
Adjusts the volume of dialog that is difficult to hear during playback of DTS:X content.

- Dynamic Range
Sets how the dynamic range (difference between maximum and minimum volume) is adjusted during playback of Dolby Digital and DTS signals.
Maximum | Playback the input signal without correction. |
Standard | Playback with a dynamic range suitable for home use. |
Min/Auto | Playback with a dynamic range suitable for nighttime or low volume listening. Dolby TrueHD playback is based on input signal information. |
- Max Volume
Sets the upper limit value to which the volume can be adjusted using the VOLUME +/- keys on the remote control or other keys.
40 to 100 |
- Initial Volume
Sets the sound volume when the power is turned on.
Off | Set the volume to the level it had when the power was most recently put on standby. | |
On | Mute | Mute the sound. |
1 to 100 | Use the set volume. Enabled only when set to a value lower than “Max Volume”. | |
