Using the WPS button to make wireless connections

Press the WPS button on a wireless LAN router to easily make a wireless connection.

Setup menu

“Network” > “Network Connection” > “Wireless(Wi-Fi)”

  1. Select the “WPS Button”.
  1. Follow the instructions on the TV screen to make a wireless connection.
  • When the connection is completed, “Completed” will be displayed.
  • If the message “Not connected” is displayed, start over from step 1 or try a different connection method.
  • This completes the wireless connection.
NOTE
  • Cannot connect to wireless LAN routers that use WEP as the encryption method. If so, try another connection method.

What is WPS?

WPS (Wi-Fi protected setup) is a Wi-Fi Alliance standard. WPS makes it easy to configure a wireless network.
