Making a wireless connection manually

Enter the required information and set up a wireless connection. You will have to configure the SSID (network name), encryption method and security key manually.

Setup menu

“Network” > “Connection” > “Wireless (Wi-Fi)”

  1. Select “Manual Setting” with the cursor keys (q/w).
  1. Enter the necessary information as indicated on the front display to make the wireless connection.
  • To enter text, use the cursor keys (e/r) to move the cursor, and then the cursor keys (q/w) to change the character. Press the MEMORY key to delete the character to the left of the cursor. Press the PRESET key to insert a new character one character before the character to the left of the cursor.
  • Once the connection is established, “Completed” is displayed and the Wireless LAN indicator on the front panel lights up.
  • If “Not connected.” is displayed, either repeat the process or try a different connection method.
  • This completes the wireless connection process.
