YDS Controller Manual

The YDS Controller is a special smart device app for Yamaha Digital Saxophone series instruments. It lets you easily edit Voice settings and store those settings as User Voices. Also, you can customize fingerings of the Digital Saxophone as you like on this application.

[For YDS-120 users]

Connect your instrument and smart device with a USB cable. For connection with a smart device, refer to the Smart Device Connection Manual for iOS or the Smart Device Connection Manual for Android.

NOTE

•   The following dialog may appear on your smart device when connecting your smart device and your instrument via Bluetooth. Make sure to allow access to enable connection.

•   If you are unable to connect the instrument to your smart device, try the following steps.

•   Quit the app, restart the app, and connect them again.

•   Delete the Bluetooth pairing registration on the device and connect with the app again.

•   If you initialize the instrument, you need to delete the Bluetooth pairing registration and connect the app again (for iOS).
