Adding effects to the mic audio

You can add a variety of effects to the mic audio.

The following types of effects are set by default for each mic effect button. You can adjust the parameters in detail for each effect from the MIC EFFECT screen of the “Yamaha ZG Controller” dedicated software.

MIC EFFECT 1

VOICE CHANGER 1

Changes the characteristics of the mic input audio. The default effect alters male voices to sound like female voices.

Toggle between on/off with each press of the switch.

MIC EFFECT 2

SE

The unit outputs the SE (sound effect) by default. The censorship tone (electronic beep) is set.

This is on only while the button is pressed.

VOICE CHANGER 2

You can also switch to the VOICE CHANGER, which changes the characteristics of the mic input audio.

Toggle between on/off with each press of the button.

Use “Yamaha ZG Controller” to switch between “SE” and “VOICE CHANGER 2”.

MIC EFFECT 3

Echo

Adds echo to the mic input audio.

Echo is applied only while the button is pressed.
