Problem & Cause | Solution |

No sound | |
Incorrect input source (input port) settings for input channels. | Check the input source (input port) selection on the INPUT screen. |
The [ON] key on the relevant channel(s) is turned OFF. | Turn it ON. |
The fader or volume of the relevant channel(s) if off. | Raise the fader or volume. |
Phantom power is not being supplied to the condenser mike. | Turn On +48V Active from the SETUP screen and then turn ON phantom power from the INPUT screen(s). |
Mute is ON. | Check mute group assignments and the settings for mute group control. |
A gate is exceeded. | Check the settings on the DYN1 screen. |
The volume is low. | |
Incorrect gain setting. | Adjust the gain on the INPUT screen. |
Noise gate and/or compressor exceeded. | Check the settings on the DYN1 and/or DYN2 screen. |
Sound is distorted | |
Incorrect gain setting. | Adjust the gain on the INPUT screen. |
Input level is too high. | Lower the volume of the input source. |
Cannot communicate with PC connected directly to DM3 series | |
Subnet mask of DM3 series does not match that of the computer. | Make the IP addresses the same via the Static IP mode. If using the DHCP mode, use a router with a DHCP server function and enable the DHCP function on the computer. |
The fader does not work. | |
There is a discrepancy in the movement of motorized faders. | Turn on the console while holding down the Home key on the top panel. Then run calibration of the faders from the MAINTENANCE screen. |
