Configuring for Google Assistant

NOTE
  • Currently available languages are English and French. The main or sub language setting on Google Assistant app must be set to the one of the available languages before use:
  1. Open the MusicCast Controller app.
  1. Tap the settings icon on the home page to open settings.
  1. Tap “Google Assistant Setup.”
  1. Tap “Start setup.”
  1. Fill in the information for the Connect ID to be created, and then tap “SIGN IN.”
NOTE
  • If you don’t have a Connect ID, create one before proceeding to the next step. To create a Connect ID, tap “or Create an Account,” and then refer to the section below.
  1. Tap “ACCEPT.”
  1. Available device(s) will be listed. Tap “Start.”
  1. Tap “Next.”
  1. Tap “Open Google Home app.”
  1. Tap “Yes.”
  1. Tap “+” in upper lefthand corner once the Google Home App opens.
  1. Tap “Set up device.”
  1. Tap link icon under “Works with Google.”
  1. Tap search (magnifying glass) icon.
  1. Type “musiccast” in search window, then tap “MusicCast Smart Home.”
  1. Tap “CONTINUE.”
  1. Tap “ACCEPT.”
  1. Select available device(s).
  1. Tap “ADD TO A ROOM.”
  1. Designate a room for the device.
  1. Tap “Next.”
  1. The device is now assigned to the designated room.
  • Tap ”DONE” to return back to Home page.
  1. The added device(s) will now be listed under the assigned room.
  • This completes the setup.
