About Streaming Services

Various streaming services distributed via the Internet can be played on the sound bar. There are the following two types of playback methods for streaming services.

Dedicated app for each streaming service, or the Sound Bar Controller app

In the app, select a streaming service and set the sound bar as the device to use for playback. See the product information page for your product on the Yamaha website regarding which streaming services are currently supported by the product. In addition, see the following:

Amazon Alexa

Once the streaming service you want to play is set up in the Amazon Alexa app, you can select that service and play it by simply speaking to Alexa. For setup instructions, see the following:

  • A paid subscription may be required to use streaming services on the sound bar. For details about each streaming service, visit the website of the service provider.
  • Some streaming services are only provided in certain areas. Each streaming service is not available outside of the area where that service is provided.
  • Services may change or be discontinued without notice. Please note that Yamaha Corporation does not accept any responsibility and will not be liable for any streaming service.
