PY64-D screen

The illustration shows the screen when a PY64-D card is selected. The screen contains the following items.
a | SRC button Turns SRC on or off and displays the clock synchronization status. |
b | Status indicator
|
c | SYSTEM/SYNC indicator These indicators show the Dante operational status. Press this to display the messages. In patterns where a message is displayed, an error icon or information icon is displayed next to the indicator. |
d | DANTE Control ID buttons These buttons are linked to the ID setting on the Dante Setup screen of the console. |
e | Secondary Port select buttons Select the Dante audio network connection method: either the daisy chain connection used for simple systems with a small number of connected devices, or the redundant connection used when connecting multiple devices. |
f | Cancel button This cancels the temporarily edited content during the process of editing DANTE Control ID or Secondary Port. |
g | Apply button If you have edited the DANTE Control ID setting or the Secondary Port setting, the settings are applied when you press this button, and a dialog box appears for confirming the change. |
h | Bit select button For selecting either 24 bits or 32 bits as the bit rate of the Dante audio network. |
i | Latency select buttons For selecting from 0.25 ms, 0.5 ms, 1.0 ms, 2.0 ms, or 5.0 ms for the latency of the Dante audio network. |
j | Preferred Leader button When set to ON, this increases the unit’s order of priority for being the leader within the Dante audio network. |
k | Sync To External button When this is set to ON, the unit will sync to the word clock supplied from the external clock source. This button is automatically set to ON if the word clock supplied from the WORD CLOCK IN terminal or AES/EBU IN on the rear panel is used as the clock source. |
- WORD CLOCK screen
- When SRC is on, PY64-D cannot be set as the clock source. Also, when PY64-D is the clock source, SRC cannot be turned on.
- The only sampling frequencies that can be changed from the DM7 series are DANTE 96kHz and DANTE 48kHz. Set all other frequencies using Dante Controller.
- When a sampling frequency other than DANTE 96kHz or DANTE 48kHz is selected, the sampling frequency and pull-up are displayed. If SRC is off at that time, the clock status will be Unlocked.
