Installing the product

  • Before installing the sound bar, be sure to read the following precautions.

Install the sound bar and subwoofer as shown in the following illustration. Place the subwoofer to the side of the sound bar. To prevent sound from reflecting off the wall, point the front of the subwoofer slightly inward.

NOTICE
  • Ensure the following amount of space around the product so as not to interfere with heat dissipation.
  • Sound bar: at least 10 cm (4 in) above, 10 cm (4 in) to the left and right, and 10 cm (4 in) behind
  • Subwoofer: at least 20 cm (8 in) above, 20 cm (8 in) to the left and right, and 20 cm (8 in) behind
  • The top of the sound bar is equipped with built-in height speakers that output the sound of the height channels.
    A space of at least 10 cm (4 in) above the top of the sound bar ensures unobstructed output of the height channels. This will provide you the best possible surround sound field.
NOTE
  • The sound bar can also be mounted on a wall. For proper installation of the sound bar on a wall, make sure to have the work done by the dealer from where you purchased the unit or by a contractor with qualified service personnel. For more information, visit the following website.
