Making a wireless connection manually
Enter the required information and set up a wireless connection. You will have to configure the SSID (network name), encryption method and security key manually.
Setup menu
“Network” > “Connection” > “Wireless”
- Select “Manual Setting” with the cursor keys (q/w).
- Enter the necessary information as indicated on the front display.
- To enter text, use the cursor keys (e/r) to move the cursor, and then the cursor keys (q/w) to change the character. Press the PRESET (>) key to insert characters and the PRESET (<) key to delete them.
- Select “Connect[ENTER]” with the cursor keys (q/w) and then press the ENTER key.
- “Connect[ENTER]” is only shown when there are no problems with the settings.
- Once the connection is made, “Completed” is shown and the Wireless LAN indicator lights up on the front display.
- If “Not connected” is displayed, either repeat the process or try a different connection method.
- This completes the wireless connection process.
