DYN2 (COMP) screen

The DYN2 screen allows you to configure the compressor for each channel.

This screen also allows you to switch between the easy to operate 1-knob mode with the [TOUCH AND TURN] knob and the manual mode, where individual parameters can be manipulated.

DYN2 button

Turns the DYN2 function ON/OFF.

1-knob button

Switches between 1-knob mode and manual mode.

1-knob level slider (only displayed in 1-knob mode)

Adjusts the amount of 1-knob COMP applied.

Not displayed during manual mode.

Attack slider

This sets the time from when the input signal exceeds the value set by the Threshold slider until the full compressor effects is reached.

Key In selection button

Select the Key In signal from the following.

  • Self Pre EQ
  • Self Post EQ

Key In level meter

Displays the Key In input level.

DYN2 input level meter

Displays input level to DYN2.

Threshold slider

Sets the level at which the compressor is applied.

Compressor graph

Displays a visual representation of the current settings.

Ratio slider

Determines the amount of compression that is applied.

Release slider

This sets the time from when the input signal drops below the value set by the Threshold slider until the compressor effect disappears. The setting value indicates the time required for the level to change by 6 dB.

Knee buttons

Determines how gradual or sharp the curve is at the threshold. With Soft the compressor is applied smoothly, with Hard, rapidly.

Out Gain slider

Adjusts the output level of the compressor.

GR (gain reduction) meter

Displays the amount by which the signal's gain is reduced.

OUT (output) meter

Displays the compressor output level.

DYN2 screen menu

Swipe left on the menu swipe indicator on the right of the DYN2 screen to open the following menu.

Copy

Copies the DYN2 parameters of the selected channel.

b

Paste

Pastes the copied DYN2 parameters to the selected channel.

c

Compare

Allows you to compare the DYN2 parameters of the selected channel with the copied DYN2 parameters by switching between the two.

d

Default

Resets DYN2 settings to their default values.
