The part names and functions of the front panel are as follows.

z (power) key

Turns on/off (standby) the unit.

Standby indicator

Lights up when the unit is in standby mode under any of the following conditions.

  • HDMI Control is enabled ()
  • Standby Through is enabled ()
  • Network Standby is enabled ()
  • Bluetooth Standby is enabled ()

YPAO MIC jack

For connecting the supplied YPAO microphone ().

Remote control sensor

Receives remote control signals ().

INFO (WPS) key

Selects the information displayed on the front display ().

Enters the wireless LAN connection setup (WPS button configuration) by holding down for a few seconds ().

MEMORY key

Registers radio stations as preset stations ().

Registers Bluetooth, USB, or network content as a shortcut by holding down for a few seconds ().

PRESET keys

Select a preset radio station ().

Recall Bluetooth, USB, or network content that is registered as a shortcut ().

FM and AM keys (RX-V485) or FM and DAB keys (RX-D485)

Switch between FM and AM () or FM and DAB ().

Enables/disables the direct playback mode ().

TONE CONTROL key

Adjusts the level of high-frequency range (Treble) and low-frequency range (Bass) individually ().

SCENE keys

Switch with one touch between multiple settings set using the SCENE function. Also, turns on the unit when it is in standby mode ().

Select a sound program or a surround decoder ().

STRAIGHT (CONNECT) key

Enables/disables the straight decode mode ().

Enters the MusicCast network addition and the wireless LAN setup by holding down for 5 seconds ().

For connecting devices, such as portable audio players ().

For connecting a USB storage device ().
