7.2.2 Bi-Amp +1Zone

You can connect the front speakers that support bi-amp connections. At the same time, the Zone function allows you to play back an input source in the room where the unit is installed and in another room. To enable the bi-amp function and the Zone function, configure the necessary speaker settings.

NOTICE
  • Before making bi-amp connections, remove any brackets or cables that connect a woofer with a tweeter. If you are not making bi-amp connections, make sure that the brackets or cables are connected before connecting the speaker cables. Refer to the instruction manual of the speakers for details.
NOTE
  • You can also connect up to 2 subwoofers (with built-in amplifier) to the unit. Two subwoofers connected to the unit output the separate sounds, and so you can place them on the left/right or front/rear sides of the room. In this case, their layout settings must be changed.
  • When using only one subwoofer, you can place it either in the left or right side.
  • When Zone2 output is enabled, the surround back speakers in the Main zone do not output sound.
