Connecting audio devices

This explains connecting audio devices, such as a CD player, to the product.

Use the type of cable appropriate for the jacks of the device to be connected, such as an RCA cable, optical fiber cable, or coaxial cable, which are commercially available.

NOTE
  • The digital inputs (OPTICAL/COAXIAL) of this product only support PCM signals (2-channel).
  • The PHONO jacks of this product are compatible with MM cartridges. Use a step-up transformer or the like if connecting a turntable equipped with an MC (low-output) cartridge.
  • For some turntables, connecting to the GND terminal of this product may reduce noise. However, there are also some turntables that have less noise if they are not connected to the GND jack.
  • The GND terminal is not an electrical ground for safety purposes.
