Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible cause | Solution |
Cannot connect to the desired instrument on the MY KEYBOARD display, or the app cannot find the instrument when you try to connect via wireless LAN. | Some communication error has occurred. | Restart both the app and your instrument, and then try connecting again. |
• Some of the devices and instruments are connected via a wireless LAN other than 2.4 GHz. • Not all devices/instruments are connected to the same LAN access point. | Connect both the instrument and the device to the same wireless LAN access point (same SSID) via the 2.4 GHz communication band. | |
Cannot install content on the desired instrument. | There is not enough free space on the instrument. | Remove unnecessary content to free up memory space. NOTE • The waveform capacity will remain in use if you simply remove a Voice. Execute CLEAN UP on the USER DRIVE display to properly free up memory capacity. • The INCLUDED_VOICES folder of VOICE may contain Voices that were automatically installed when you installed the Style but are no longer used because the Style has already been removed. |
When playing a preview, there is no sound from the device. | The volume setting on the device is 0. | Adjust the volume on your device. |
The instrument is Genos2 and is connected via USB. | When the instrument is Genos2 and is connected via USB, the preview playback sound will automatically be set on Genos2 to the USB audio input. Make sure to listen to the sound on headphones/speakers connected to Genos2. |
