Configuring the network settings

Checking network information

You can display the networking information of this product.

SETTINGS menu

Network” > “Information

Displayed screen

  • Status: State of network jack connections
  • Connection: Method of connecting to a network
  • SSID (for wireless connections only): Access point where this product is connected
  • MAC Address [Ethernet]: MAC address of this product when using a wired connection
  • MAC Address [Wi-Fi]: MAC address of this product when using a wireless connection
  • IP Address: IP address of this product
  • Subnet Mask: Subnet mask setting
  • Default Gateway: IP address of the default gateway
  • DNS Server (Primary): IP address of primary DNS server
  • DNS Server (Secondary): IP address of secondary DNS server

Configuring wireless network connection settings

Network” > “Wireless Connection” > “Connect with App” / “Network Scan” / “WAC(iOS)” / “Manual Setting

NOTE
  • The “Wireless Connection” setting cannot be configured when the network is connected via a wired connection.

Automatically configuring network information (DHCP function)

This function automatically configures the network information (IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, etc.) of this product using a DHCP server.

Settings

  • Off: DHCP server is not used. The network information is set manually.
  • On: DHCP server is used. The network information is set automatically.

Manually configuring network settings

You can manually configure the network settings of this product (such as the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway).

SETTINGS menu

Network” > “IP Address

  1. Select “Off” in “DHCP”.
  1. Select the menu item to be set.
  1. Set the network settings.
  1. Press the ENTER key.
  1. To set another menu item, repeat steps 2 to 4.
  1. Press the ~(SETTINGS menu) key.
  • This completes the setting.

Setting network standby

This sets whether the power of this product can be turned on from a network device.

Network” > “Network Standby

Settings

  • Off: Disables network standby.
  • On: Enables network standby. This setting consumes more power than when set to “Off”.
  • Auto: Enables network standby.
  • Disconnecting the network cable will place the product into power save mode, reducing power consumption.

NOTE
  • When in the power save mode, this product cannot be turned on from a network device, even if it is connected via a network cable. Turn on the power of this product using the power key on the remote control or the front panel.

Setting the network name of this product

You can change the network name of this product that is displayed on the network.

SETTINGS menu

Network” > “Network Name

  1. Press the ENTER key.
  1. Edit the name, and select “OK”.
  1. Press the ~(SETTINGS menu) key.
  • This completes the setting.
NOTE
  • To delete all entered characters, select “CLEAR”.
  • Selecting “RESET” restores the network name to its default setting.
