Preparations for using Alexa

To use Amazon Alexa on the Alexa Built-in sound bar, the following preparations are required:

  1. Have an Amazon account.
  • An Amazon account is required to use Alexa. If you do not have an Amazon account, you can create one during setup in step 3. You can also create an account beforehand on the Amazon website.
  1. Install the Sound Bar Controller app on your smartphone.
  • This app is used to connect the sound bar to a network. Search for “Sound Bar Controller” on the App Store or Google Play and install it on the smartphone. For more information on the app’s functions, see the description of the app on the App Store or Google Play.
  1. Connect your sound bar to the Internet and set up your Amazon account.
  • Connect the sound bar to a network using the Sound Bar Controller app and set up your Amazon account. For more information, refer to the User Guide of your product.
NOTE
  • Alexa is only provided in certain areas. Alexa may not be available in some countries or regions.
  • Connect the sound bar to a network with Internet access so Amazon Alexa can communicate with services in the cloud.
  • The language used by Alexa can be set when performing the initial setup for Alexa. It can also be changed in the Sound Bar Controller settings.
