Controlling the sound bar by voice commands

Call out Alexa to the Amazon Alexa Built-in sound bar and use voice commands to control the sound bar, play music, and more.

  • If you want to prevent Alexa from being accidentally called, or to protect your privacy, disable the microphones of the sound bar. Instead of calling out “Alexa,”, you can also operate the remote control or the controls on the sound bar to make Alexa start listening for a command. For more information, refer to the User Guide of your product.
  • When giving commands to control the sound bar from the Amazon Alexa app or another Alexa Built-in device, use the name that has been set as the sound bar in the Amazon Alexa app.
  • The Amazon Alexa app is a dedicated smartphone app provided by Amazon. For more information on the app’s functions, see the description of the app on the App Store or Google Play. The Amazon Alexa app allows you to set up the functions of Alexa in detail, such as setting streaming services or news services you want to use. Refer to “Help & Feedback” in the Amazon Alexa app for more information.
