Adding functions to Alexa

Adding Alexa skills to Amazon Alexa allows you to use new functions via Alexa.

Use the Amazon Alexa app for the setup. Search for “Amazon Alexa” on the App Store or Google Play and install the Amazon Alexa app on the smartphone.

  1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
  1. Select “Skills & Games” from More.
  1. Select an Alexa skill and add it to Alexa.

  • The Amazon Alexa app is a dedicated smartphone app provided by Amazon. For more information on the app functions, see the description of the app on the App Store or Google Play. The Amazon Alexa app allows you to set up the functions of Alexa in detail, such as setting streaming services or news services you want to use.
