What is Amazon Alexa?

Amazon Alexa is an interactive voice AI (Artificial Intelligence) provided by Amazon.

Because the service is based on cloud technology, you can call your own Alexa to ask questions or command it to control devices at any time as long as your Alexa Built-in device is connected to the Internet.

By constantly learning the user's voice and commands, Alexa will understand the voice more accurately over time, and will be able to respond or control devices appropriately. Also, its capabilities can be extended by adding various Alexa skills.

When you call out “Alexa,” to the Alexa Built-in Yamaha sound bar and then ask a question, Alexa understands your voice and answers your question. Also, when you call out “Alexa,” and give it a command, it controls the sound bar or other Alexa-enabled devices (smart home devices) according to your command.

The dedicated smartphone app “Amazon Alexa” provided by Amazon allows you to configure your own Alexa in detail or add Alexa skills. Refer to “Help & Feedback” in the Amazon Alexa app for more information.
