Symptom Possible cause Countermeasure

The display does not show anything.

The DIMMER (DIMMER BRIGHTNESS) setting is set to 0%.

Set the DIMMER (DIMMER BRIGHTNESS) setting to 25% or higher.

The display is dim.

“BRIGHTNESS” on the PANEL SETUP screen is set to a low value.

Set “BRIGHTNESS” to a higher value.

If no operation is performed for a certain period of time, the AUTO DIMMER function will automatically dim the screen.

To turn the display back on, press any button on the front panel.

The power does not turn on. The power suddenly turns off. Even when it is turned back on, it immediately turns off again.

The voltage of the power outlet connected is significantly outside the rated range.

Connect the product to a power source with the appropriate voltage.

Obstructions or dust in the ventilation holes, or blocked ventilation holes, prevent cooling, causing the inside of the amplifier to overheat.

Check the ventilation state and take measures to dissipate heat. Then, wait until the main unit cools down before turning it back on.

The output level is too high.

Reduce the output level.

The sound coming from the speakers is distorted.

The input level exceeds the input sensitivity setting.

Adjust the input sensitivity using INPUT SENSITIVITY on the AMP SETTINGS screen to suit the input level.

The sound is muffled. No high-pitched sound is produced.

A filter is applied.

Change the filter settings with X-OVER.

No sound comes from the speakers.

The cable is not properly connected. If the INPUT SOURCE(Redundant) & SIGNAL indicator is not lit on the HOME screen, there may be a problem with the input connection. If you increase the volume and the OUTPUT METER on the HOME screen fluctuates but no sound comes out, there may be a problem with the output connection.

Ensure that the input and output connectors are correctly connected. For the output connection, make sure that the cable is connected to the connector generating signals.

If the INPUT SOURCE(Redundant) & SIGNAL indicator is not lit on the HOME screen, the mixer level is low or the input sensitivity of the XMS unit is set too low.

Increase the output of the mixer or increase the input sensitivity setting of the XMS unit.

The volume level is reduced.

Adjust the volume.

The mute function is turned on. You can view the HOME screen to check whether the mute function is turned on.

Turn off the mute function.

The protection circuit has been activated and muted the output. When the protection circuit is activated, the PROTECT indicator for the corresponding channel lights up red.

Check the operation log to find the cause of the protection circuit activation and resolve the issue.

The panel cannot be operated.

The panel is locked.

Unlock the panel. For details on how to unlock the panel, refer to “ How to unlock the panel .”

I want to reset the parameter settings to their default values.

To return to the default values, follow “ Restoring to factory default settings (Initialization) .”

After the power is turned off and restarted, edited current parameters return to the values before editing.

The power was turned off before the current parameters were automatically saved.

Before turning off the power, wait at least three seconds after editing.

Dante Controller cannot patch a CL/QL series digital mixer or an MTX/MRX series processor.

The Fs of the CL/QL series mixer or MTX/MRX series processor is set to 48 kHz, while that of this product is set to 96 kHz.

Set the Fs to 48 kHz using Dante Controller or this product.

After Clear Config was executed in Dante Controller, the operation became unstable.

After Clear Config is executed, the product will not operate properly unless you restart the product.

If you execute Clear Config, be sure to restart the product using one of the following methods.

  • Check the [Reboot] box when executing Clear Config in Dante Controller

  • After executing Clear Config, turn the power of this product off and on again.
